Brodie Ferguson

Founder and Managing Director. Brodie holds a PhD in Anthropology from Stanford University, where he served as a fellow at the Center on International Conflict and Negotiation while researching rural livelihoods and natural resource management in the Chocó region. He has a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and has over 10 years of experience working and consulting for international organizations in developing countries.


Emily Roynestad

Emily Roynestad

Director of Business Development. Emily has a Master of Science from the London School of Economics in Environment and Development. A former Fulbright Fellow, she has over 10 years of international development experience in post-conflict countries including Indonesia, East Timor, and the Dominican Republic. She is co-author of the Global Canopy Programme’s Little Climate Finance Book.


Mauricio Salazar

Mauricio Salazar

Project Coordinator. Mauricio holds a BSc in Forestry from the National University of Colombia and a Master of Science in Anthropology, Environment and Development from University College London, where he was a member the Human Ecology Research Group. Mauricio has worked for over 5 years with rural Colombian communities to achieve social, economic and cultural development based on the sustainable use of their natural resources.
